Wintry Weather in Southern Rockies and Plains; Moving to Eastern U.S. by Midweek

• A storm system in the Southwest U.S. will continue to bring snow and freezing rain to parts of the Southern Rockies and Southern Plains through Monday. The storm will track through the Gulf of Mexico and bring heavy rain to parts of the South by Monday evening. The storm will turn northeast on Tuesday bringing rain, wind and mountain snow to the Eastern U.S. that could impact holiday travel.
