SD man gets 7 yrs. for New England, ND bank heist
• BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- A federal judge in Bismarck sentenced a South Dakota man to seven years in prison for his role in a North Dakota bank robbery. • Jurors convicted 20-year-old Colt Schneider, of Rapid City, in August of bank robbery and using a firearm during a crime of violence. • Schneider got one day in prison for the robbery conviction and seven years for the gun crime. He also must pay $4,000 in restitution. • Another man, 29-year-old Johnner Ward Jr., of Abilene, Texas, was sentenced in August to 11 years for his part. • Authorities say the two men wore black ski masks and carrying guns entered American Bank Center in New England in October 2012 and ran away after grabbing money from a bank employee. •

Christian Ponder will be the starter at Green Bay. • Vikings coach Leslie Frazier announced his decision on Wednesday, and Ponder made this sound like it wasn't much of a decision at all. Frazier didn't seek him out to tell him he was keeping the job, Ponder said.
