lene's home.  She also spent an afternoon with her daughter, Becky Wegleitner.  They sipped on coffee and prepared an order for Christmas gifts.  When you see just how busy the stores can be it's a much easier and relaxed way to shop.

The Claremont United Methodist Church is celebrating its 125th Anniversary this year. On Sunday, November 24th the worship service will include a short program about the history of the church.  If you have church memories you would like to share please contact Pastor Nancy Manning or Judy Pierson as soon as possible.  Following the worship service there will be a potluck meal served.  The pork loin and beverages will be provided.    Mark your calendars and make sure to attend this joyous celebration.

Yvonne Gibbs enjoyed visits with family members on Saturday, November 16th.  Lauren and Annie Olerud of Watertown, Heidi Steffensen of Brookings, Suzie Ogren of Langford and Lisa Waletich of Groton came for lunch.  They had fun with little Annie Elaine.  She is Yvonne's great granddaughter.  Parents are Ryan and Lauren Olerud.  Maternal grandparents are Tim and Heidi Steffensen.  This little sweetheart is nine months old now and great grandma reports that she is a very active, happy baby.

Dana Pulfrey and Roy and Carrie Pulfrey headed to Palm Springs last week for a vacation.  They did some golfing and relaxing and had a wonderful time.

Barney and Carol Hanse and Mark and Braven Hanse attended Molly Hanse's violin recital at the ARCC in Aberdeen on Sunday, November 17th.  Molly is an awesome young lady with a lot of talent.  One day after school she got off the bus here and asked me if I would like her to play her violin for me.  It was one of those things that just doesn't happen every day, especially in a small town like Claremont and I will most likely never forget my very own "Molly" performance!

Becky Wegleitner was one of the "Celebrity Chefs" at the Langford  Community Foundation appreciation supper last Friday, November 15th. Gabby Merkel and I attended.  There were appetizers, beverages, salads, desserts and a fabulous pork loin supper served.

I hope your week was great.  Mine was busy as usual with a typical amount of drama and stress but there always seems to be some wonderful tucked inside there too and that is what makes it all worth while!
