I never knew shopping for new mattresses could be entertaining but I learned on Saturday that if you include a certain ten year old girl, almost anything you do will be just a bit more fun.  Don and I invited our little friend, Gabby Merkel to shop with us.  We walked into the store and quickly located the mattress set that we wanted.  Gabby and I decided to look around a bit while Don took care of the purchase details and we came across a really nice bedroom set with an enormous king size bed.  It was adorned with an inviting comforter and Gabby decided to give it a test drop.  She stood at the end of the bed, spread out her arms as if she was about to fly and dropped.  I turned around right as she was landing and I heard a huge thud!  Who knew bedroom set beds didn't have mattresses hiding under the covers?  We do now!
 
Ann Bailey had several visitors this past week.  Carla Fixen and her infant daughter Kristina of Marshall MN surprised Ann with an unexpected visit on Wednesday November 13th.  Ann also entertained Bonita and Dick Edwards later in the week.  Supper was served both evenings.
