Storm System Will Bring Rain, Mountain Snow to Parts of Western U.S.

• A storm system moving through the Pacific Northwest will bring widespread showers and mountain snow across parts of the western U.S. into Wednesday. Moderate to heavy rain is expected along coastal areas from Oregon into central California, with accumulating snow along the higher elevations of the Cascades, northern Rockies and Sierra Nevada. Windy conditions will begin across the Southwest.
