• I took part in the Gateway Mall Craft Show this past weekend in Bismarck.  It was nice to finally get out and visit with some of the people living there.  I've been told a time or two that I am blessed with the gift of gab so starting conversations was quite easy.  I love people and I'm always fascinated by how many things we all have in common.  I do get carried away at times but the people that turn around and walk the other direction when they see me coming are so discrete that I almost never notice!  Years ago I seriously did have a gal that would only come into the tiny little post office I worked at if she had an extra twenty minutes as she knew we would end up visiting at least that long. What can I say, I love to talk and talking to myself isn't nearly as much fun!
• Doris Spencer celebrated her birthday with family and friends on Sunday November 10th at Rosewood Court.  If you weren't there for the celebration but would like to send her a card you can address it to: Doris Spencer, 705 N 6th St, Groton SD 57445.  Happy Belated Birthday Doris!  We miss visiting with you at coffee!
• Yvonne Gibbs joined Gerald Applebee and John and Jeanne Applebee for a week long vacation.  While in Branson, Missouri they saw the Lennon Sisters and the Osmond Brothers at the Andy Williams Theater.  The saw Tony Orlando at the Lawrence Welk Theater.  Others they saw were Clay Cooper, Mel Tillis and Charlie Daniels.  They also visited two wineries.  They stopped in Springfield to see the
