• Tammy Satrang and other will be coming from Britton to visit and learn about Groton's B.A.G.S. for Tomorrow program. Dalchow said they are looking to start a similar program in Britton.
• It was reported that the MathCounts teams did well at the Roncalli Invitational held November 6. The seven grade team of Jennie Doeden, Micah Poor, AnneMarie Smith and Alexis Simon placed first; the seventh grade team of Kaitlyn Anderson, Tylan Glover, Taylor Holm and Cassandra Townsend placed third, AnneMarie Smith placed fourth in seventh grade individual and Micah Poor placed fifth, the eighth grade team of Jenifer Fjelstad, Marshall Lane, Madison Sippel and Madilyn Wright placed second and Marshall Lane placed sixth in the eighth grade individual.
• There was a recommendation to give the sub-varsity officials, scorers and timers a $2 per event raise. The board agreed to give them the raise, but it will not take effect until the 2014-15 school year as the budget is already in place for this year.
