The region will be in between systems today, with low pressure off to the northeast and high pressure building in from the west. The result will be strong and gusty northwest winds across the Dakotas this afternoon. Otherwise, dry conditions and seasonal temperatures are forecast. The next chance for precipitation will be late Sunday night into Monday, but very little accumulation is anticipated. A very cold air mass also begins to drop south Sunday night and will continue to impact the region through the beginning of the work week.
