• "Volleyball is a unique sport," Helvig said. "It's a lot of momentum, and how you're feeling on that day. It's not necessarily just skill, I would say volleyball is 90 percent mental and 10 percent physical. It's a very mental sport."
• The next round will be played Thursday night in Britton with Groton Area taking on Britton-Hecla at 6 p.m. and 20 minutes after that match, Sisseton will be taking on Aberdeen Roncalli. The championship game is Tuesday at 7 p.m.

• "Britton-Hecla's height will be a challenge," Helvig said. "We'll have to neutralize their height and try to get some better matchups at the net. I thought we played pretty well with them for two to two and half games the last time we played them. It's all about momentum."
