3-5 inches of snow forecast for parts of SD

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A storm system is bringing more snow to southwest South Dakota and the first major snowfall for the season in the southeast part of the state.
• The National Weather Service says snow will start in the southwest, so a snow advisory is in effect for late Monday night through Tuesday afternoon for the area.
• Then a winter weather advisory will be in effect for southeast South Dakota from Tuesday morning until midnight.
• Forecasters say 3 to 5 inches of snow is possible.
