Moderate to Locally Heavy Rainfall Returning to Portions of the Southern Plains into the Mid and Lower Mississippi Valley While Locally Heavy Snowfall Will Be Possible Across Parts of the Central Plains
• Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue from central Texas into Arkansas as moisture from the remnants of tropical cyclone Sonia move across the area. Locally heavy rainfall could produce flooding from the southern Plains into the Missisippi Valley. Farther north, ample moisture along a stalled front will result in moderate to heavy snow from Wyoming into Nebraska.
