• Our girls have basketball games on Saturday in Aberdeen and a couple of weeks ago, I promised them that we would go to the Dacotah Prairie Museum in Aberdeen. It is open on weekends so after the games yester

day, we went on a tour.
• If you have never been to the museum, you should

go. It is remarkable at what they have on display. One of the favorites is the animal display. What they have done in a small room is spectacular and you get to see a lot of the animals close up.
• You will see a few of the pictures that took yesterday.
• There was also a telephone room where you could actually be a dispatcher in the old days and plug in two of the

same colored cords and hook two phones together and talk to each other. I had to chuckle as there were a couple of other boys there and they had no clue how to hold the phone. One was holding on to the phone and talking into it like a microphone. His dad had to show him how to talk into it.
