An upper level trough of low pressure moving across the region will bring showers to northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota today. This system will also bring strong northwesterly winds of 25 to 35 mph with higher gusts for the Missouri River valley. This system will depart the region tonight with dry and seasonal temperatures expected for the weekend.
