125th Celebration held a couple of years ago.  The sign on the south end of town will be receiving some landscaping and a couple of concrete Honkers as well before this project will be considered complete.  Thanks so much to all of you that supported our celebration.  It was very much appreciated.
• Rick and Melanie Rossow, Glenwood Springs Colorado were recent visitors at the home of Lyle and Joan Cutler.  While there they enjoyed visiting the Rossow family in Groton as well.  They attended the Groton High School football games watching nephew Parker Rossow play quarterback position.  Mary Lynn & Bill James, Melanie & Rick and Lyle & Joan enjoyed an evening of conversation and playing "Shanghai" the card game.
• James Pulfrey celebrated his birthday on Wednesday with a spaghetti supper held at his Grandma's.  Other guests included his parents, Roy and Carrie Pulfrey, Uncle Dana Pulfrey, and Terri Traxinger.  On Sunday his and Pastor Nancy Mannings birthdays were observed with a Sunday dinner at Virginia Pulfreys.  Other guests were Laura Pulfrey of Sioux Falls, Roy, Carrie and Dana Pulfrey, John and Shari Freeland, Pastor Nancy and her niece.
• Laura Pulfrey was home to enjoy and help with the Harvest and Hunters Breakfast held Saturday morning, October 19th.  In the afternoon she went hunting with her dad and brother and then finished off the day by attending the Firemen's Fundraiser held at the Claremont Legion Hall.  She won a gun in one of the drawings.  James won one of the cash drawings and a $10 gift certificate.
• I need to end this edition of the news.  My week is starting out busy but should take a more relaxing turn as it comes to an end.  I have a few projects that need my
