• Jackson Doeden had 19 carries for 76 yards and one touchdown on a run of one yard. Alec Oleson had six carries for 28 yards, Spencer Knecht had two for eight yards, Jeric Albrecht had two for 12 yards and Parker Rossow had one for six yards. "I thought we played pretty well," Wanner said. "Jackson and Kasey did a good job running the ball. We had over 300 yards rushing against a pretty decent team." Groton had 51 carries for 315 yards.
• Parker Rossow completed two of six passes for 53 yards with one touchdown pass of 42 yards to Spencer Knecht in the third quarter and had two interceptions.

Mason Madson had the other catch for 11 yards.
• Sisseton's Logan Grimm completed four of 13 passes for 63 yards and one touchdown and Hunter Medenwald completed one of five for 12 yards. Brayden Tasa had three catches for 39 yards. Getting interceptions were Kasey Kurtz with four yards returned and Spencer Knecht with one interception for 17 yards returned.
• Both teams had two fumbles with Sisseton losing one. In the second quarter after Kurtz's 95 yard scamper, the Redmen watched the kickoff ball bounce, thinking it was going to go out of bounds, but it didn't and Spencer Knecht got the ball right back for
