• Tiospa Zina fumbled on the kickoff return and it was recovered by Jackson Doeden. On fourth and eight, Groton scored on a pass from Kurtz to Spencer Knecht for a 24 yard touchdown. The PAT kick was no good and it was 20-0 with 6:21 left in the first quarter.
• Alec Olson would score on the first play from scrimmage on the next drive on a 34 yard run. Kurtz caught the pass from Parker Rossow for the PAT and it was 28-0 with 4:22 left in the first quarter.
• Groton had the ball one more time in the first quarter, but did not score by the

time the quarter ran out. The drive continued into the second quarter and Jacob Milbrandt ended up kicking a 30 yard field goal with 9:37 left in the second quarter. Groton

took a 31-0 lead.
• Groton would have a first down before Jackson Doeden would score on a 33 yard run with 6:14 left in the half. The two-point conversion was no good and it was 37-0.
