and 26 assists. Courtney Kurtz had 91 sets and 25 assists and Carly Wheeting had 12 sets and one assist. Webster missed one out of 128 sets with 29 assists. Marisa Keller had 56 sets and 14 assists and Devin Spindler had 57 sets and 13 assists.
• Groton had four solo blocks, two by Josie Doeden and two by Sadie Rogers. Webster had three solo and one assisted block, all by Breanna Bullert.
• Groton also won the junior varsity match by game scores of 25-23 and 25-20, and the C match by game scores of 25-20 and 25-11.
• "We played really well," Helvig said. "If we play like this the rest of the season, we'll go undefeated here on out. That's how good we played. We played with a lot of heart."
• Groton's next match is Tuesday at Tulare. The Tigers are now 8-5 on the season while Webster goes to 8-9.
