Junior high football 7th and 8th graders split their last two game of the season.

• They lost to the Aberdeen Central 8th grade squad by the score of 22-0.  The game was closer than the score appeared.  The Tigers were still in the game going into the 4th quarter down just 8-0.  Then we had a couple of turnovers setting up easy scores for them.
• In the last game of the year, the Tigers defeated Redfield by the score of 28-16.  In that game, Lucas Hinman scored first on a touchdown run.  Anthony Sippel scored the second TD in the game on a reverse.  The conversion pass from Treyton Diegel to Korbin Blackmun was good as well. Tylan Glover then scored next for the Tigers on a run of his own.  The conversion was good on a Clark Gibbs run.  It was then 20-0 at the half.  Redfield scored two touchdowns of their own in the second half.  Groton's score in the second half came when Seric Shabazz picked up a fumble and ran it back for the TD.  The scoring thus ended at 28-16.
