Lady Tigers earn state tournament berth

• The Lady Tigers started off slow on Monday against a fired up Tea Area Lady Titans.  After a first 20 minutes of scoreless play, the Lady Tigers were able to put together a series of passes in the midfield.  Cheyenne Schaller and Camille Sippel were able to finds space in the Tea midfield and made their way to the goal.  On a pass from Camille, Cheyenne shot and scored from about 12 yards outs.  
• The Titans came back a few moments later and put together a good attach on goal.  A foul outside the penalty area gave the Titans a direct free kick that just cleared the Groton goal and tied the game at 1-1.   The half ended in a tie.
• With good senior leadership the Lady Tigers were able to get focused during the break.  Off the second half kickoff the Tigers
