The Groton Boys Soccer team defeated Mitchell Christian on Tuesday, September 24 by a score of 8-0.  Scoring for Groton were:  Luka Kother (3 goals), James Thompson (2 goals), Wyatt Locke with an assist by Tyler Scott, Luke Sternhagen, and Devon Poppen.   Goalkeepers were Chance Strom and Nick Dalchow.
 

The Groton Boys Soccer team lost a tight battle to James Valley Christian on Thursday, September 26 by a score of 2-0.  James Valley scored the two goals off set pieces - one a corner kick and the other a free kick outside the box.  Goalkeeper for Groton was Chance Strom.
 

The Groton Boys Soccer team defeated St. Thomas More on Saturday, September 28 in Rapid City by a score of 4-1.   In the first half the Tigers scored at the 36 minute mark with a penalty kick by Jacob Milbrandt earned when Luke Sternhagen was fouled in the box.  The Tigers scored again at 17:24 when Landon Larson sent up a kick to Luke Sternhagen.  Lane Weig was also in position to finish the kick into the net.   In the second half, at 26:00, Luka Kother headed in a corner kick placed by Sternhagen.  Groton's final goal came at 17:08 when Luka Kother scored on a cross by James Thompson.   St. Thomas More scored in the final minute of the game on a free kick outside the box.  Groton's goalkeeper was Chance Strom.
