Homecoming Parade Cancelled
The schedule of homecoming events for Friday, October 4th has been changed in anticipation of cold, wet, and windy weather conditions. The parade has been cancelled and plans are being finalized for a community-wide pep assembly which will be held in the GHS Arena beginning at 1:00 PM. The pep assembly will feature the GHS Marching Band, 2013 GHS Royalty, the Groton Elementary Student Body, and encouraging words for the GHS football team. The schedule of events for Friday afternoon will be as follows:
1:00 PM: Pep Assembly - The public is encouraged to attend.
2:00 - 5:00 PM: Elementary PAC Carnival
5:00 - 7:00 PM: Kiwanis Tailgate Supper (Arena Foyer)
7:00 PM : Kickoff - Groton Area vs. Milbank
