An area of low pressure moving across the region will bring scattered sprinkles to most locations today. With slightly better moisture available over eastern South Dakota, scattered showers are possible this afternoon. A strong storm system will bring significantly colder and windy conditions to the region by the end of the work week and through the first half of the weekend. This system will also bring widespread rainfall to all locations, and perhaps accumulating snowfall to the western Dakotas.
