Cold and Unsettled Weather in the Pacific Northwest

• A strong cold front has brought an early taste of winter to the Pacific Northwest. Mountain snow in Washington could total a foot or more in parts of the Cascades, with several inches in the Olympics. Travel could be treacherous in mountain passes through early Tuesday morning. Conditions will improve during the day on Tuesday.
