The Groton Garden club met at the home of Linda Gengerke with Linda Anderson assisting. Eight members and one guest  Mari Overacker, answering roll call with a Fell indicator.  Several memorials were recognized for Mayor Olson and member Renee McKiver. Yard of the  week winners were Lisa and Darac Harry, Tom and Nancy  Cutler, Steve and Ann Gibbs and Steve and Becky Diegel. The SDFGC Board meeting will be held in Watertown, October 12 from 10 am-3pm. Marj Overacker joined the group as a member. The next meeting will be October 21, at the home of Suzi Oliver with Elda Stange assisting. Linda Gengerke will give the program. Pat Larson gave the program-Blooming Beauties.
