• Groton avenged an earlier loss to Aberdeen Roncalli with a three-game win over the Cavaliers in volleyball  action played Thursday night in Aberdeen.
• Game scores were 26-24, 25-21 and 25-22.
• Groton was 64 of 73 in serves with 11 ace serves. Courtney Kurtz was 13 of 14 with four ace serves, Halle Dohman was nine of nine with two ace serves and Kasey Waage was 10 of 10 with one ace serves.
• In attacks, Groton was 66 of 88 with 27 kills. Kylie Hawkins was 16 of 18 with

seven kills, Josie Doeden was 17 of 20 with six kills and Camille Sippel was 14 of 18 with six kills.
• Groton was 84 of 88 in sets with 21 assists. Courtney Kurtz was 74 of 74 with 20 assists.
• Groton had 37 digs with Camille Sippel having nine and Kylie Hawkins and Kasey Waage with seven each. Josie Deoden had two blocks.
• Groton also won the junior varsity match by game scores of 25-20 and 25-18.
• Groton is now 4-2 on the season while Roncalli falls to 5-3. The Lady Tigers will travel to Warner on Tuesday and to Milbank next Thursday.
