Groton battles top rated S.F. Christian in a scoreless game

The Groton Boys Soccer team finished their seventh game in 10 days in a Saturday afternoon contest in Groton.  The Tigers took on the top-ranked, undefeated Sioux Falls Christian Chargers and played a hard-fought game to a scoreless game.  The Tigers were missing two starters who were side-lined due to injuries, but managed to stop the Chargers from scoring.  Key defenders for Groton are Landon Larson, Jacob Milbrandt, Zach Crosby, Tyler Scott, and goal keeper Chance Strom.  The Boys team looks forward to having a few days off and will continue play next Friday at Aberdeen Central at 1 p.m.
