Groton's defense sets up
35-16 win over Mobridge-Pollock

• Groton Area rallied from being down 16-7 in the third quarter to spoil Mobridge-Pollock's homecoming with a 35-16 win in a strong second half performance.

the hands of Reilly Ell who evaded the defense and got a first down to keep the drive alive. Kasey Kurtz later got a first down on a three and six play. Groton was at the Mobridge 31 yard line and on fourth and five, Groton was going to go for it, but a false start penalty on Groton made it fourth and 10 and Groton ended up punting. The ball landed at the one yard line which brought a round of applause from the small Groton crowd.
