Cross country teams run at Britton, Redfield

• Groton's cross country teams have competed in two meets this year.
• Jasmine Schaller led the Groton girls in the 4,000 meter race with a fourth place finish in 18:38. Hannah Lewandowski placed 12th with a time of 19:57.
• Luke Smith ran the 5,000 meter boys race with a 13th place finish.
• Girls junior varsity 3,000 meter race: 5, Cheyenne Schaller, 12:48; 9, Kaitlin O'Neill, 14:07; 14, Erin Smith, 14:41; 15, Jenifer Fjelstad, 14:45; 16, Rchel Blackmun, 15:05; 17, Hannah Fischbach, 15:07; 22, Anne Marie Smith, 15:30; 25, Kaitlyn Kassube, 14:48; 26, Kylie Kassube, 14:54; 36, Emma Donley, 17:54; 37, Caroline Graf, 18:03.
• Boys junior varsity 3,000 meter race: 16, Micah Poor, 14:24; 17, Mitchell Koens, 14:48.
• Then Groton went o Redfield/Doland on Thursday where Hannah Lewandowski ran the 4,000 meter varsity girls race in 19:32 for a 30th place. Luke Smith ran the 5,000 meter boys race in 21:39 to place 36th.
