A weak weather system will continue to drift east today. Across the northern tier of South Dakota, the clouds and showers will help keep temperatures down, though we will see higher humidity. To the south, intense heat is expected for another day, with heat index values to 105 degrees. The hottest day in our heat wave will come on Thursday.
