Failing health made it necessary for her to move to the Golden Living in Groton about a year ago. • Cleone was confirmed in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Pierpont. She truly had a green thumb and loved her many plants. She also enjoyed playing cards with her neighbors. • Grateful for having shared her life are her two sons: Vernon (Leny) Lutz of Edmond, OK; Ronald (Teresa) Lutz of Henry, SD; seven grandchildren; and six siblings: Diane Hanson of Pierpont; Jerome Peterson of Sykeston, ND; Norman Peterson of Pierpont; Jeanette "Nettie" (Charles) Lemmon of Pierpont; Kari (Darin) Malsam of Roscoe, SD; and Elaine (Hagel) Nieman of Aberdeen. • Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Rodney Peterson.
