Emmanuel Lutheran Church is hosting its second annual 5K Walk/Run/Bike Faith Event on Saturday, Aug. 24. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. with the event beginning at 8 a.m. The starting point is Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The cost is $20 and the funds this year will benefit the new playground equipment at the Groton City Park. All proceeds will go to a needed match to the already received state grant.
