• South Dakota lottery officials say the ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missed the Hot Ball to win the game's $30,000 second prize in the Saturday drawing. The ticket buyer also purchased an option for an additional dollar that tripled the prize.
• The odds of winning the Hot Lotto second prize are 1 in about 1.6 million.
• A ticket sold in Piermont won the $3,000 third prize and was tripled for a total of $9,000. The odds of winning the third prize are 1 in about 139,000.
• Hot Lotto is played in 15 states and the District of Columbia. The jackpot sits at $1.2 million for the next drawing, on Wednesday.

26 Summit League hoops games to be broadcast

• FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- The Summit League says 26 men's and women's basketball games will be produced and televised regionally by Midco Sports Network this season.
• Twenty-two of the broadcasts also will air on national cable TV partner FOX College Sports. Coverage will be spread across all eight weeks of the schedule, and all

10 men's and women's quarterfinal and semifinal games at the league championships will be part of the national schedule.
• Summit League Commissioner Tom Douple says the televised games will showcase the Summit League brand and increase the amount of exposure for teams and athletes.
• North Dakota State and South Dakota State, last season's men's finalists, meet on Saturday, Jan. 25. Last year's women's finalists, South Dakota and South Dakota State, square off on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Shooting range proposed in Deadwood city limits

• DEADWOOD, S.D. (AP) -- The Deadwood City Commission is deciding whether to approve a shooting range within city limits.
• Businessman and retiring FBI agent Greg Vecchi wants to open the range in partnership with local campground owner Tom Blair. It would be in an area surrounded by high ridges, and Vecchi says test firing last week proved that noise would not be a problem.
• Some residents have questioned whether the proposed shooting range might be better in a different location. Mayor Chuck Turbiville says he thinks the range would
