Cool, dry Canadian air will dominate the weather for most of the region over the next several days. Any thunderstorms that do develop will be isolated and confined to western South Dakota. A weather system will push through on Thursday, with a bit warmer, more humid conditions that may allow thunderstorms to spread into eastern South Dakota.
