"Their prices are already high. Groton currently has some of the highest electrical costs around and we're worried about what another price increase could mean to some of our local businesses."
• Johnson said that would look into the problem and that alternative energy exploration was still a major interest.
• "With the high demand for electrical energy," Lowary said. "We can't afford to shut down our coal burning plants while we explore alternative energy sources."
• Senator Johnson thanked everyone for their hard work in making the Groton Community Transit a success.
• "You have something here that the whole state could benefit from," Johnson said. "Volunteerism."
