• Parental support also plays a big part in the Groton baseball program success.
• "All I do is teach the kids to turn left at the base," Kurth said. "Its the parents who set up transportation to the games, wash uniforms and all the other small things that save me a lot of time."
• Kurth summed up the success of the Groton Baseball program this way.
• "The baseball gods have smiled on us," Kurth said. "That's better than anything."
