habit this land around with a video camera I'm thinking we'd have some real "reality" tv that would actually be worth watching!
• Becky Wegleitner met up with Alvina Opitz and Marge Krista for lunch on Saturday in Britton.  After lunch they patronized some of the local shops and polished off their get together with an ice cream treat that afternoon.
• This weekend Claremont will host their annual Jan Hinrichs Memorial 5x5 Tournament.  This is an annual fundraiser enjoyed by many.  Typically the funds raised are donated to a family in need or used for improvements on facilities within the town.  In addition to the tournament there will be a silent auction held at the Methodist Church.  This auction features numerous gift baskets filled and donated by local residents and no two are ever exactly alike.  We would love to see you here!
• The time has come to say goodbye for yet another week. I have to share one of the silly things that happened this week.  One of my very young friends was telling me that her friend told her she shouldn't list her real birthday on anything online so she told me, "I said I was born in 1899."  I thought about it for a second and laughing I said, "you realize that makes you 114 years old, right?" My job and the wonderful people, young and old in this community, are never boring! I hope you have a great weekend!
Call, text, email or write out your news for me and I'll be sure to get it in print!
