Lincoln and Harley Gibbs, Carla Hardy and Emilie Crosby.  There was a program followed by ice cream sundaes wrapping up the week on Friday afternoon.
• On Saturday Barney and Carol Hanse traveled to Sioux Falls to celebrate their grandson Isaac's birthday.  Jolinda and Kate Finley had arrived earlier in the week and were on hand for the celebration as well.
• Lynn Lake had the pleasure of floating a couple of boats containing a few of our local residents this past week.  Terry and Kyle Haaland, Darwin Ives, Donnie Hanson and Leon Vickers headed out early Tuesday morning to give the fish some forces to be reckoned with.  The trip started out a bit rough for the boat holding the Vickers/Hanson duo as Hanson forgot to put the plug in before the vessel left the shore.  When the water began rushing in the plug free hole Vickers was rethinking his choice of friends to include in the boat he ended up in.  As fate would have it this would not be the only thing causing Vickers to wonder just why he was fishing with Hanson.  It was reported that the team, as a whole, decided to keep the 19"-21" walleyes that were caught.  Unfortunately Vickers' line only hooked a few smaller fish that did not measure up and Hanson heavily encouraged him to throw them back.   It was reported by Haaland that Ives was in the front of their boat "acting" as navigator which inevitably blocked Haaland's view which made the actual navigating more difficult than necessary.  Haaland reported that someone took a nap during the adventure as well but he sure didn't say it was the same guy that was  having more fun than if he was playing cards.
