Josie LaMee made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Lucas Simon seconded the motion. Portia Ketterling gave a demonstration titled "Sandwhich Box out of Milk Cartons". Alexis Simon presented a talk titled "Ten Clever Things to Make Your Life Easier'. Brenna Johnson presented a talk titled "How to Encourage Kids to Sleep When Baby sitting". Porter Johnson presented a talk titled "Facts about Cows". Joellen Gonsoir presented a talk titled "What You Can do in 4-H Rodeo". Joellen Gonsoir presented a demonstration titled "How to Throw a Breakaway Rope".

 Nineteen members of the Groton Kiwanis Club held their weekly dinner meeting at the community center last Wednesday noon.  Dan Dalchow, president; led the brief business session.  Bob Wehde was program chairman, and introduced Linda Thurston, a Brow County fair board member.  Linda gave an overview of this year's county fair in Aberdeen, to be held August 12-18.
