The Putney Putovers 4-H Club July meeting

The Putney Putovers 4-H Club met July 15, 2013 at the Groton Community Center. President Alexis Simon called the meeting to order. The United States Flag pledge was led by Porter Johnson. The State Flag pledge was led by Brenna Johnson and the 4-H Flag pledge was led by Dylan Krueger. The July roll call topic was "an aerobic exercise." Emma Donley made a motion to accept the secretary's report and Alexis Hanten seconded the motion. Tage Taylor made a motion to accept the treasurer's report and Brenna Johnson seconded the motion. Dylan Krueger reported that for community service he mowed the Ferney baseball diamond and the Ferney cemetery. Old business included a thank you from Chris Wheeting for the flowers the Club sent her. Other old business included the report of profit from the Thurston auction of $650.75. New Business included the request for volunteers to help put up display at the Brown County Fair; volunteers and ideas to help promote 4-H at the Brown County Fair. New business also included Bo-Peep Bingo tickets due to Chris Wheeting by July 30. New business included important dates: July 17, Fashion Review; July 22, Rocket Launch; July23-25, State Horse Show; July 26, State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest; July 27, Dog training seminar; July 26-28, Summer Spotlight; July 29, Leaders meeting; July 29, Non-livestock judging at
