The Putney Putovers 4-H Club June meeting

The Putney Putovers 4-H Club met June 10, 2013 at the Simon's house. President Alexis Simon called the meeting to order. The United States Flag pledge was led by Cole Simon. The State Flag pledge was led by Porter Johnson and the 4-H Flag pledge was led by Josie Lamee. The June roll call topic was "how to protect your skin." Michaela Cutler made a motion to accept the secretary's report and Portia Ketterling seconded. Alexis Hanten made a motion to accept the treasure's report and Emma Donley seconded. The Simons reported that for community service they served food at an auction. There was no old business. New business began with the reading of the June newshound. Josie LaMee made a motion to send flowers to Chris Wheeting in the amount of 25 to 30 dollars. The next meeting will be held July 15 at 6:00 PM at the Groton Community center. Community Service will be Dylan Krueger and Michaela Cutler. Portia Ketterling made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Alexis Hanten seconded the motion. The motion passed. Abby Gibbs presented a demonstration titled "Mod Podge Collage". Alexis Hanten presented a demonstration titled "How to Make Apple Rolls". Tage Taylor presented a demonstration titled "How to Make T-shirt Vests". Emma Donley presented a talk titled "10 Tips to Take Better Photos". Hayley Monson presented a talk titled "Camping Safety Tips".
