Groton earns berth in State B Title Game

• In a rematch of last year's American Legion State B Baseball State Tournament, Groton schooled everyone on how the game was played when they defeated Flandreau, 8-2 Sunday night in Webster.
• Using everything in the play book, RBI's, stolen bases, sacrifice bunts and good defense in the field combined with excellent pitching, Groton was able to control the game from start to finish and continue their march to a back-to-back Championship.
• "It was an excellent game for us," Head Coach Travis Kurth said. "It was a critical game for us, so we did everything we could to win, there was no messing around. We threw everything we could at them, including the kitchen
