a double and then stole third base. Parker Rossow would then hit a single to bring Jorgensen home, tying up the score.  But Groton wasn't done yet with that inning. Matt Thorson would hit a single with bases loaded to bring in Rossow. The fourth inning ended with Groton up by one, 2-1.
• Both teams would score in the sixth inning. Tyler Genzlinger would hit a triple that brought home Marshall Miller to tie the score. Groton would regain the lead in the bottom of the sixth. Drew Planteen would be hit on the pitch allowing him to walk. He would then steal two bases setting up a sacrificial bunt by Brandon Stanley that allowed Planteen to run
