• Groton's Teener team defeated Britton in two more games on July 24. Groton won the first game, 17-0, in six innings. Adam Herman had two triples and a single, Alec Voss had a double and two singles, Barry Keith had a double and a single, Spencer Knecht a double, Bennett Shabazz had three hits, Lucas Sternhagen two and Jackson Doeden one.
• Nick Dalchow pitched a no-hitter, throwing 70 pitches for five strike-outs and three walks. Knecht was the catcher.
• Groton won the second game, 13-1, in five innings. Spencer Knecht had a triple, a double and a single while having one hit each were Bennett Shabaza, Lucas Sternhagen, Adam Herman, Wyatt Larson, Chance Strom and Alec Voss. Herman was the winning pitcher, throwing 69 pitches for six strike-outs, one walk and one hit. Isaiah Cutler was the catcher.
• The teener team will host Milbank at 1 p.m. today for a make-up game.
