Bath, Westport in Three Rivers Title Game

• The Three Rivers League Midget Tournament will conclude today in Langford  with Bath and Westport playing in the championship game.
• Bath got to the title game by beating Leola, 11-1, and then Langford, 10-6. Westport had a first round bye and then defeated Frederick, 15-5.
• The tournament concludes today with Leola and Andover playing at 10 a.m. The winner of the game will play for fifth place at noon against Claremont. Then at 2 p.m., the third place game features Frederick and Langford with the championship game being played at 4 p.m.

Frederick 6, Claremont 5: Triple by Harley Gibbs from Claremont in 4th inning and Home Run by Dakota King in the 4th inning.

Bath 11, Leola 1: Double by Matt Johnson from Bath in 4th inning; Triple by Jayden Karst and Daeton Hunstad from Bath in 6th inning.

Langford 18, Andover 7: Double by Mason Larson from Langford in 1st inning & 2nd inning; Double by Jacob Clemens in 4th inning; Homerun by Zac Fries in the 6th inning.

Westport 15, Frederick 5: Triple by Nehemiah "Nemo" Becker and Double by Sam Kenser from Westport in 1st inning; Triple by Nehemiah "Nemo" Becker in 2nd inning;  Homerun by Nehemiah "Nemo" Becker in 6th inning.

Bath 10, Langford 6: Double by Jacob "Crash" Moore  and Jayden Karst from Bath in 1st inning; Double by Matt Johnson from Bath in 2nd inning; Double by Andrew Buechler from Bath in 3rd inning; Double by Dylan Schneider from Bath in 4th & 5th inning; Double by Zac Fries from Langford in 5th inning; Double by Cody Jensen and Mason Larson from Langford in 7th inning.

Groton and Clark to tangle in Region 6B Title Game

Groton will play Clark in the Region 6B Championship game today at 4 p.m. in Groton. In yesterday's games, Groton defeated Redfield, 10-0, and Clark eliminated WIN, 8-3. Then Clark defeated Redfield, 18-8.  A Groton win will advance them to the state tournament. A loss means a second game will be played at 7 p.m.
