Brown County 4-H Fashion Revue
• The 2013 Brown County 4H Fashion Revue was held Wednesday July 17th. Primrose Retirement Community graciously offered their facility for the event. 2 4-H team members narrated while 11 models modeled constructed and selected outfits.
• In the early afternoon, Lois Davis of Bath and Pat Dennert of Frederick judged the models. The models were judged on the following criteria: the fit, style, and accessories of the garment on the individual; the individual's modeling ability; the construction of the garment; and the garments cost and care. Each model was given a ribbon placing. Senior and 13- year-old Junior purple ribbon winners will represent Brown County at the South Dakota State Fair. There is not a state fair competition for 4-H members in the Beginner age division or for 11 and 12 year-old Juniors.
• Beginners:
• Purple Ribbon- Alexis Hanten and Nicole Marzahn
• Blue Ribbon -Abigail Allison, Aspyn Frink, Dawson Frink,
• Juniors:
• Purple Ribbon- Matthew Carpenter, Peyton Johnson, Alexis Simon, and Portia Kettering
• Seniors:
• Purple Ribbon- Abby Gibbs and Ashley Gibbs
