We visited our optometrist in Fargo yesterday and two locals are working in Dr. Tufty's office at Eyes on 43rd. On the left is Denise Tunby Baker, originally from Houghton. She has been working there since January but has been in the optical business since 1982. On the right is 2009 Frederick High School Graduate Caitlin Zinter.

Lois Trapp, 90, of Conde died Monday, July 16, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Home in Clear Lake. Services are pending with Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel, Groton.
