system re-installed in the Bath building. The system had been hooked up to Web Water at one time and allowed a faster over head way of filling the tanker trucks, but had been disconnected at some point. Bahr and the building committee will continue to look into this and get some working prices.
• The new concrete apron along the front of the Groton Fire Hall has been poured. The final cost was a little higher then originally proposed due to the fact that the construction crew had to go down further then planned to find a solid surface. This then resulted in more fill need to refill the hole. The concrete will cure over the next week. Meanwhile, the trucks and equipment have been moved outside to allow for easy access. During the storms last week, Full Circle Ag and Wheeting seed opened up their buildings to allow the fire trucks to be put under cover.
• One of the trucks sitting on the west side of the building is the new rescue squad ambulance. The ambulance was purchased from the City of Aberdeen. The new truck is stocked and ready to go. The board will be advertising the old truck for bids, as they listed it as surplus during Monday's meeting. The bids will be opened at the next meeting, on August 19.
