The Life of Janice Elaine Holland

• Janice Elaine Holland, 87, went to be with The Lord on July 7, 2013.  She was born in Groton, on March 1, 1926 to Angus and Gertrude McKiver.   After her marriage on June 12, 1946, to Hoover Holland she moved to California and then to Colorado Springs in 1952 where she has since resided.  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June of 2006 shortly before his death in December of that year.
• Janice was a homemaker and later worked as a secretary.  She was active in many clubs and organizations, one of which

was The Woman's Club of Colorado Springs where she was recently honored with a life-time membership.  She was also a charter member of the Village Seven Presbyterian Church where she served actively as a choir member, Sunday School teacher and a deaconess until recent years. She also belonged to the Gideon Auxiliary, The Christian Women's Club and the Naomi group of Village Seven Presbyterian.
• She is survived by two daughters: Suzanne Kemp of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Wanda Rogacki of Niceville, Florida.  She has three grandchildren: Robin Roberts, John Rogacki, and Janina Overley.  She also has five great-grandchildren: David, Anthony, Mercedes, Devin, and Aurora.
• A memorial service was held Thursday, July 11 at Village Seven Presbyterian Church.
