• Rachel Blackmun is a junior at GHS and this is her second year as a lifeguard. She also has her Water Safety Instruction certification so she is able to give swimming lessons.
Her favorite part of life guarding is seeing the kids progress through swimming lessons. The biggest challenge is when kids don't listen. For the summer, Rachel likes to hang out with friends and go to the lake. During the school year, she is involved in basketball, show choir, band, golf and cross country.
