Mass of Christian Burial for Alys Snyder, 85, of Warrensburg, Missouri and formerly of Groton will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 13^th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.  Father Mike Kelly will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Conde.

Visitation will be held at the church from 6-8 p.m. on Friday.

Alys died July 4, 2013 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.

(Aberdeen, SD)  Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center is celebrating its first birthday.  The medical center opened to the community in the afternoon on Monday, July 16, 2012.  A birthday celebration is planned and the entire community is invited on Tuesday, July 16^th from 2 - 5 p.m. at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center.  The birthday celebration will include health and wellness activities and the opportunity to share a cup of coffee and birthday cupcakes with our staff and providers. Gordon Larson, CEO of Sanford Aberdeen noted, "Our birthday celebration provides us with the opportunity to thank patients, community members and community leaders for graciously welcoming us. At the birthday event, the public is invited to take advantage of a variety of health screenings, mini-seminars, informational booths and interactive kid stations.  Guests can complete a "Passport for Healthy Living" and be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. Face painters, a caricature artist and photo booth will also be available.
